“10/10! My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of working with Chris and Diana of Coastal Construction and Design for the better part of a year. Our experience was night and day compared to other contractors we have worked with in the past and we can’t recommend them enough. 

When we first met with Chris and Diana, we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. We knew we were going to add a mudroom, expand our kitchen, redo two levels of decking, add a patio, and completely redo the master suite.  To top it all off, we had a number of trees fall on our house and garage during some heavy storms, which significantly and unexpectedly expanded the scope of the project, which they were happy to help with. 

With the detail oriented guidance and suggestions from Diana, our “plan” went from broad strokes ideas to a meticulously laid out design over just a few fun and friendly meetings. From there, Chris and his team made it come to life.  

One of the biggest surprises to me was that we ended up finishing on time, despite our constant “oh and while you’re here, can you also…” requests. Equally surprising was that we also finished under budget, not including some agreed-to change orders for scope increases we requested to be added after construction had started. 

We happily and earnestly recommend Chris and Diana and the whole team at Coastal Construction and Design (including sub-contractors) to anyone looking to renovate or build a home.
